Q. How does GCR work?
A. You create a profile using GCR's unique content editor. Upload any pictures or video* content to your profile. Send the provided link to as many coaches/recruiters as you want, as often as you want.

Q. How does GCR save me money?
A. GCR can help you as a gymnast get your bio and talent in front of recruiters. You won't have to make 50 copies of your bio and mail them to potential recruiters only to have them sit in a stack next to all the other candidates.
Q. If I use GCR am I guaranteed a scholarship?
A. Absolutely not. At GCR or goal is to help you get a scholarship, but ultimately your talent and the opinions of recruiters will determine whether you get a scholarship or not.
Q. Can GCR provide me a list of college recruiters to email my link to?
A. No. It is up to you to collect information on college recruiters to email your link to. There are many resources available on the internet to get these email adresses.

Q. How do I get video from my DV Camcorder in to my computer?
A. Windows XP has software called Windows Movie Maker that can help. Click HERE for a tutorial.
Q. Do I have to use .wmv format for my video?
A. No, you do not, but we recommend that you do. This format uses the smallest amount of file space and will take less time to transfer. It will also take less time for recruiters to download and view.
Q. Do I need to have a DV camcorder to transfer the pictures to my computer?
A. No, a DV camcorder is not required. 8mm camcorders offer methods for transfering video to your computer. Check the owners manual for your camcorder for more information on this topic.
Q. I already have videos but they are not in .wmv format. Do I need to convert them?
A. You do not need to convert them, but remember that you are limited to 100 MB of video storage on your GCR site.

Q. Do I need to set up a PayPal account to use GCR?
A. Yes, because GCR is a subscription service and PayPal requires you to have an account for this. When you sign up for GCR, you will be taken to PayPal where the account will be created.
There will be nothing charged to your account at this time as the first 30 days are always free.
Q. If I don't like the GCR product, can I cancel my subscription?
A. Yes, you can log in to your PayPal account and cancel the subscription to GCR. There is absolutely no charge to cancel your subscription at any time.
